AVBH is an artist and curator.

Her multidisciplinary practice questions the power relations—both intimate and political—inherited from Western modernity. Through artistic and curatorial research (poetry, photography, film), she explores the long temporalities and regimes of invisibility inherited from the forensic turn. Her practice focuses on the fabrication of evidence, fragile images, and suppressed testimonies.

Her work takes the form of films, performances, installations, and texts, extended by research on atmospheres and olfactory devices that bring us closer to the intimate. She combines poetry and investigation, fragility and tension, to produce liminal spaces—where appearance resists.

She envisions these sensitive spaces as places where forms of disturbance and control are replayed, but also as possibilities for recomposition, even political nods or discreet sabotage.

Her recent projects invest in atmospheres as spaces for creation and political recomposition. A graduate of EHESS and UAL (London), she developed her curatorial practice at La Colonie (Paris), combining art, cinema, and research around issues of decolonization and sharing the word, which she continues to pursue as a freelancer.
